Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

According to the Malaysian Optical Council 2022, the Optometrist-to-population ratio is 1 to 15,147. Therefore, Focus Point as Malaysia's leading optical chain company, we understand the importance of nurturing Optometrists and the crucial role of registered and qualified Optometrists. We are honored to be able to collaborate with UCSI University by offering an interest-free student loan to undergraduates pursuing Bachelor of Optometry.

These students upon graduating will have the opportunity to work with Focus Point with a decent remuneration scheme and fast-track career development. We are committed to provide comprehensive training program to assist them in developing the necessary skills and knowledge. We believe that with consistent support and learning, our Optometrists will continue to grow and be fully prepared to provide the best vision care services to the community.

Focus Point is glad to form a partnership with UCSI University to cultivate a group of passionate Bachelor of Optometry students. The MOU Signing Ceremony between Focus Point Vision Care Group and UCSI University was held on the 14^th December 2022. The MOU was signed by Dato’ Liaw Choon Liang, our President/CEO and Professor Ir. Dr. Jimmy Mok Vee Hong, the Pro-Vice Chancellor of UCSI University Springhill Campus.
